The Wendy’s Assault

A fight broke out recently at a Kalamazoo, Michigan Wendy's ending in the arrest of two customers. The fight started when customers coming through the drive-thru were given the wrong food. Apparently when the customers were given the wrong food they started a fight with the drive-thru cashier. This included hurling food back thorough the window.
After food was thrown by the customers the employee retaliated by throwing a few fries and sodas of their own. After this occurrence the customers became even more angered and entered the restaurant where the proceeded to physically assault two employees.
The customers were arrested and charged with assault. The two employees escaped with minor scrapes and bruises. Having worked at a fast food restaurant through high school and college not much of this surprises me at all. I am actually surprised it made local news since things like this were a pretty regular occurrence in my old neighborhood.
What this story does do is make me really question what humanity is coming to. Come on people get a grip!
